What are Vengeful Spirit's skills?


Magic Missile
A magic missile is thrown at an enemy unit, causing damage. Stuns for 1.75 seconds.

Level 1 - Deals 100 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 175 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 250 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 325 damage.


The most powerful damage that a non ultimate stun can give in the whole game, and inspires fear in enemies early game. The first skill you should max out, because as the game wears on, it starts to gradually lose its powerful effect. Also has great synergy with her swap, which will describe the subsequent combos. Late game, the stun is still very effective.



Terror

Shendelzare lets loose a wicked cry, terrorizing nearby enemy units. Their armor and damage are reduced.

Level 1 - Reduces base armor by 2 and damage by 5%.
Level 2 - Reduces base armor by 3 and damage by 10%.
Level 3 - Reduces base armor by 4 and damage by 15%.
Level 4 - Reduces base armor by 5 and damage by 20%.


As compared to what others say, this spell is still fantastic to use, but yet again, like others say, the AoE makes this spell hard to land on most heroes in big battles. However, due to our item build that we are going for, this will be very well implemented. This spell is meant to be used later in the game, so don't level it early, as the bonuses will be close to negligent early game.



Command AuraIncreases nearby units damage.

Level 1 - 12% damage.
Level 2 - 20% damage.
Level 3 - 28% damage.
Level 4 - 36% damage.


Hands down one of the top 10 spells in the game. The fact that it maximizes your damage by 36& of your agility and it is an aura, with a good AoE as well, and is shared with every allied hero makes it that good. Beats Trueshot aura and Lunar Blessing due to the fact that the % is more and she is willing to share it with melee heroes. Useful throughout the game, yes even in earlygame, because of the huge percentage, although can be levelled later in preference to stats.




Nether Swap

Instantaneously swaps positions with a target Hero.

Level 1 - 600 range.
Level 2 - 900 range.
Level 3 - 1200 range.


Is a double edged sword if not used right. An important note is that if you are alone, and there is no one to provide a stun/slow, you must use it hand in hand with magic missile. That is to say, swap and then stun. Why you ask? Why can't I just stun him, hit him and then swap if he is running away? One flaw with that...the hero you just swapped with might just turn the other way and run, leaving you to chase anyway, practically wasting your ultimate. Only do this non recommended combo if you are at the tower and you would swap him to it, and even if he runs the other way, you can intercept his other route back home, and stun him. Another is if you are swapping him into a whole bunch of your allies.

Explanation of Skill Build 1


Why have stats early to mid game?
This is more for magic missile spammers. It's geared so that to you get a small boost of mana capacity to coincide with the regen you are going to get from Ring of Basillius. Gives you some needed agility that will be boosted when Command Aura is leveled and some strength needed to survive early game. This goes on right up to level 16 with stats boosts here and there, to boost your command aura even more and to help your mana capacity grow a little.

Why max out Magic Missile so early?
Like I said in my explanation of skills and about Magic Missile's sell by date, we know that Magic Missile is her best harassment tool early game and loses its power as the game wears on. Thus, we max it out all the way, allowing you to nuke a 325 damage stun at level 7.

Why level Terror so late?
Terror is only useful as the game wears on, contrary to Magic Missile. This is why we level it later in the game. Can be levelled along with stats because of the usefulness of stats mid game as well.

Explanation of Skill Build 2


Why this particular build?
This is more for those that concentrate on farming rather than using missile. Magic Missile still needs to be maxed out because of its usefulness in this period. For this one, you have to be more careful with your mana. More for those who want to be more defensive and uses it only if needed for example, when harassed, or when a hero has low health after your ally lowered its health.

Why max out Magic Missile so early?

From here, you can see that command aura not only does add your own damage, it also provides additional damage for your creeps.+9 damage at level 4 command aura is very helpful in pushing.

Whereas here, stats does not give as much as Command Aura does give in terms of damage thus making Command Aura a better early game choice than stats.
